Who is this course suitable for?

This language course is designed for mature students aged 50 and over and accommodates learners of any level, from beginner to advanced. It’s particularly suitable for those who not only want to improve their French skills, but also wish to spend time enjoying the wonderful culture, history and food found in Rouen and the Normandy region.

What’s included on the course?

Included in the 50+ course are fifteen hours of French classes per week, led by French in Normandy’s highly-qualified language teachers, as well as four afternoon excursions/activities each week. Learners are placed in mixed-level groups for French classes, according to the results of the initial placement test, and afternoons are spent participating in activities designed specifically for this age group.

Rouen is famous for its art, medieval architecture and food, so there are plenty of fantastic cultural experiences on offer. Examples of activities in the 50+ course are:

• Visits to attractions, such as the Impressionist gallery and Monet’s house
• Afternoons cooking French cuisine
• Cheese or wine producer visits and tastings
• Historical tours of the city of Rouen
• River cruises on the Seine

How much does it cost?

For €550 per week you can benefit from 15 hours of French lessons and 4 afternoon activities, including all attraction entry fees. Students can also enjoy this program for 2 weeks
